Inspiration, Writing, Humor, and Stories

I won’t be posting for a good month, so I thought I’d leave you with some food for thought, a little dabble in writing, and something to do if you’re completely bored.

“When you do not know what to choose, show total involvement in everything. Then life will choose, and it is never wrong.” Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

“Some people put so much time into planning their lives and not enough into living it. Get out there, find a calling, a hobby, spend time finding who you are on the inside and out. It’s difficult to give of yourself to others when you have no idea who you are.” Denise Baer

I fell in love with Matthew McConaughey the first time I saw him in Dazed and Confused, but more so, in A Time to Kill. This is truly a profound video. Thanks, Matt.

Writing Prompts

Pick up a book, turn to page 12, and choose three words from that page (noun, verb, and adjective). Base a story on those words.

If you get a chance, please take the time to read these incredible stories.

Until I see you again, please be safe, be good, be kind, and remember that everyone has a story.

  1. Thanks so much for these, Denise! It’s nice to have food for thought, especially in the fast-paced, instantaneous world we live in. I honestly don’t know how to keep up with my various social media feeds sometimes, so I very much appreciate this kind of content more than you can imagine 🙂 Have a wonderful week! <3

    1. Hi Sophie, So glad you enjoyed and appreciated this post. We all need to stop, recharge, and revisit, and refocus on our purpose in life. Our focus always shifts from one stage to the next.
